I have two usb ports on the front of my pc when i conect anything in to either one PC tells me that the device is not working !!The other usb ports at the back of PC work fine.
You need a special usb cable that connects your front panel USB ports to your mainboard's USB controller. Can't think for the life of me what it's technically called though ...
