Default Sticky Stick!!!!!!!

What gives, I was playing COD today and whenever i get to a point where there is alot of AI, my comp goes mucho sticky!!! I have a great comp and have never had this problem before, but it seems like I am suffering from it all of the sudden. What gives??? No adware or spyware or virus', fresh reinstall of the OS.

...damn....I'm really stumped on that one....can't be anything regarding your specs...should be able to handle it like nothin at all....and you said its a complete fresh install of the OS? Maybe newer drivers? About all I can think of cause that doesn't seem right at all.

hmm... updated all drivers including the MBD chipset drivers? That is odd, though.

Ok thx for the replies. I fixed it by getting DirectX 9.0c (though I had it).
