Default socket T (lga 775) vs. socket 478

which one is more better? will there be a new socket for the dual core processor or will they be using the 775 socket?

i don't about dual core, but the 64bit pentiums will most likely be lga775

Well, Intel 64bit processor wont be 775, and i dont think the duals will be either. Those are completely different chips, i dont think they will share the same sockets.

Everything I have read say's the 64bit pentiums will be lga775.

I honestly believe they wont. Not just because they are completely different, but mostly because they would want to make a better socket.
