Seek Time

How come the Seek Time on the 36.7GB SATA Western Digital Drive is slower than the time on the 74GB Drive, and does that make the smaller drive slower?

4.5/5.9 doenst makes too much difference.

SCSI's still tare the SATAs apart. If you have the money you will like them. And more reliable.

I have never used a SCSI drive before, I wouldn't even know where do start. Do I need to get a special adaptor to use one, or are they the same as any other drive?

SCSI have special interface, they are like older technology than S-ATA's. as servers are leaning towards usage of S-ATA's rather than SCSI's and WD Raptor is made to use in servers.
