RAM question

Im looking to upgrade my system memory and was wondering if the different brands mattered in any way. Do different brands run together as well as two sticks of the same brand?

It is always best to buy a reputable name brand ram, such as mushkin, corsair, crucial, ocz, etc.

Different brands will run together, tough not as well as a matched pair, especially in dual mode. Also, different brands may have different latencies.

I wouldn't recommend going with different brands like Bleep says but make sure ya buy good quality Ram like Corsair or Crucial. Stick to the good stuff.
