What is the diffence between Registered and Unbuffered RAM and what are the overall benifits of having Registered?

Registered RAM is more expensive, slower, but is less likely to cause errors. For gaming and regular home use, you will want unbuffered unless you get an Althon FX processor which requires registered. You will need registered RAM when running something such as a server.
