I had an old IBM think pad which had a 800mhz P3 chip, with 256 MB of ram, and cost me about $500. Boy did I love that laptop, it would run Gunbound GREAT and that's all I needed it for. I remember playing from sun set to sun rise on that laptop.

Toshiba IBM Think Pad. Eventually I left it on the rug in my room and remember stepping on the screen by accident. Man I miss that laptop.

I don't know how much the contura cost (it was my dads) but it does have a 25MHz processor so I would guess a lot.
