how noisy is 55 dBA. coz i need 2 know b4 i buy a fan. thanks!

thats loud because mine gets up to 45db and it sounds like a Jet engine!

yeah. anything under 20 is quiet. 20-40 is normal, 50 is loud. I wouldn't buy a 50 unless you're more concerned with airflow than noise level.
