What is the best brand of hardrives and cdrw's.

Good H/D:

Western Digital, Seagate, Hitachi

Optical Drives:

Plextor, Samsung

hitachi and samsung, do you think they make good drive blind_arrow. i'm not saying that i don't think they do, its just never heard anybody really recommend those 2 brands.

I have used 1 hitachi, was very nice, quiet and good performance (better than Maxtor at least), else WD and Seagate are into H/D sector preciously, go for it.

Samsung's CD/RW is currently in my usage in onwe of PC's, I am very impressed with its performance and stability (never failed a CD while writing, where other drives SONY and MSI failed.)
