Mobile Graphics

Since the dawn of time I have been using Nividia cards, however more and more I am thinking about trying ATI. Here's the deal I need a fairly highend mobile graphics card and I want some peoples opinions on which chipset I should get.

My notebook will be mainly used for Lightwave 8 projects as well as hopefully playing HL2 and Halo.

I have always been more uptodate with software, so any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated

im like you man, gone with Nvidia forever, i tried ATI Radeon and their new cards, they are great , i found ATI has better graphics Quality , but speed performance Nvidia has ATI beat. im going to wait till Nvidia comes out with the 512mb DDR and 520mgz card,, till next upgrade, but for you i would go with ATI.
at least try it. if u dont like it 30days take it back.
