Default Game Port drivers for Santa Cruz, do not install

Hello, I cannot install the game port drivers for my Santa cruz. the green bar in the hardware update wizard is at 100%, but the paper gfx still moves and it says
Gameenum.sys To C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS

it has been sitting there for over half an hour.

my previous motherboard had no problems with it. my previous mobo had a via chip set. my current, an epox 8rda3i has the nforce 2 chipset. Unfortunately my mobo does not have a game port in the I/O panel, it has some jumper connections on the mobo for a game port, but no jumpers for it.
I have the latest drivers offered by Turtle Beach the sc_4193. the latest Direct x, winxp pro SP2

if you want a DX diag file or whatever it is, I will post one
