Palomino Core - max. operating temperature is 90ºC (194ºF)

Thoroughbred Core - max. operating temperature is 85ºC (185ºF)

To determine what you have, use a utility such as WCPUID, model 6 Athlon XPs use the Palomino, while model 8 uses T-Bred.

Getting off-topic but I test my CPU Temperature and it is always at 28°C! I haven't turned my computer off in almost a half of month and it runs at 26-30°C everyday! And my Motherboard fan runs at 30-34°C everyday!

Don't I feel special?

i have an athlon xp 1600+ and a termaltake smart case fan 3 and they say that if you have the heat sensor on the fan reaches max rpm at 60 degrees or something like that neway i turn my computer on and it runs probably from 9 til 10 or 11 at night but about 1 hour after i turn it on the cpu fan and the case fan reach max on just idle then clocks back down to the lowest setting 1600 rpm i was wondering whats the deal with that wether its got something to do with the starting up of windows xp or something but alls i know is it sound like a jet taking off cpu if a dragon orb 7700rpm max and case fan 4400rpm

i dont need a solution i was just wondering why thxs
