what do I use to make new Partitions?

i've never really messed with that type of thing before. I may just do that. I mean since its only 10gigs.

alright, i'm at work now, i should be home around 8pm
ya partitions are nice.... so when i needa reformat, all my goods like music and stuff doesnt have to leave

but make sure you back up your stuff

cuz it shafted me once, it messed up while doing so (could be cuz i was doing other things while it was doing it) and it completely wiped out my hard drive... 50 gigs of music lost in like 2 minutes.. sucked!

i'll give you the run-down on how to use it when i get home

GParted -- LiveCD

Burn it to disk, it runs as a live CD.

yeah

i really dont need more than one 320GB hard drive...if i ever need more space i'll just pick up a 500GB for $100. unless i can get a good deal on a 80GB off ebay.
