Default Choosing graphics card

Which graphics card is better:

1. 128mb GeForce Fx 5500 AGP (nVidia) or
2. 256mb Radeon 9550 DDR 8x AGP (ati)

And how much should I pay for either one of the,?

You'll pay around $70-80 for either of them. I say get the second one.

Just because the Radeon has 256mb on it does not mean it is better. What are the core/memory speeds on those cards? How many pipelines do they have? 4?

shawn, if you are trying to put us down, let me tell you this. You can check core/memory speeds by googling.

Get the ATI, the GeForce FX cards weren't any good. The 9550 still isn't bad and can play todays games on medium settings, and can even play HL2 on high.
