Default Buying an LCD

Hey, I want to buy an LCD monitor for a computer that i will probably build around august. i also want to use this monitor on my old Dell 4100 until i build the new computer. what kind of monitor should i buy (inputs and all that).

new lcds come with DVI, but if your computer is using an old videocard it probably wont have dvi... so i think id suggest the... Samsung 710n... 17 inch.

i think the samsung looks good, it got great reviews. i'll see if i can save up enough, then i'll post how it is if i get it.

Buy the samsung, my friend has it and it's really good. It has a good response time, 12ms <-- you can't beat that with anything under $350

well.. honestly, id go acer.

acer has the dvi and dsub.... samsung only has the dsub.. and having the dvi makes your computer a little more future proof.. well at least thats waht i think.

Well I have an Acer Laptop and the monitor on it is beutiful. but I don't know much about Monitors, what is response time?

i have the samsung 710n... for the price you really can't go wrong. awesome spec and the picture is awesome.
