Benq DVD Burner

i recently built a new pc from scratch and i bought a benq DVD+RW DW400A to go with it. When the computer was ready to go I turned it on but the burner did was recognized. I checked all of the conections and still the same problem. When i turned on the computer the lights go on and then shut off and for a split second. when i first turn it on i can eject the disc tray. When the computer is on and the tray is out i cant even put it back in i tried to push it back in but it comes back out. Can anyone please help me!! i bought 3 burners 1 4 an existing cp and that works fine but the other 2 for new pc dont work.
