I have a Toshiba Tecra 9000. A few days ago the sound went out, even when trying to use headphones it does not work. I have taken the computer apart and then turned it on and played a movie and jiggled some stuff around to see if I could find the source of the problem, assuming there was a loose connection. I found that it is not the sound board. I have been told that it is the wireless LAN minipci board. This board has two wires connected to it that can be swiveled. One black and one white. Well I found that touching the white wire made the sound come back on for a second then went back off. I did this about 3 times total and then I could not get the sound to come back on at all. I was just wondering if anyone knew how could it be possible for the wireless card to affect the sound. I would really like some help because all I use my laptop for is music and movies (and internet). Thank you in advance.
