There is a counter on the ati.com website. And it is currently reporting 12 DAYS counting down. Could this be the countdown to the launch of the X1800 Series???

Yup, ATI Radeon x1800 will be launched 5th of october.

yeaaah I remember it was originally for august 21....then they boasted saying it was going to be late july.........now it's october....losers

For the next round of video cards, nvidia needs to let ATI release their card first and do like ATI does....see what the competition puts out....delay it for 4 months afterwords....tweak it around a little bit.......then claim "OH YEAH WE DOMINATE THE COMPETITION" even though you know they blatently boosted it up from original plans AFTER the other side already released their card
