update the Bios and your Chipset Drivers.Ive installed so many High end video cards over the years of various brands that ive lost count. Oddly enough the Motherboards have all been ASUS
and i havent had any problems.Although there have been minor problems and were corrected with updated BIOS/Chipsets/Power Supply`s.Also check your BIOS settings and voltages.
