Hello guys I want to purchase a new mother board for my computer

I currently have a socket 478 motherboard..... and i want to completely replace it with a socket 775 motherboard....I am buying a new processor for it and im buying new ram for it...

so can it be done?
any precautions?

I just did this type of upgrade. I went from a Prescott to a Wolfdale cpu. I was able to find a motherboard that took my old ram and $400 AGP video card that wasn't willing toss in the drawer just yet. One thing to look out for is to make sure your power supply has the capacity and correct power connectors for the new motherboard.
