Upgrading 230V to 300V PSU

Is upgrading from a 230W to 300W ATX PSU safe? No hardware was changed and the new psu will be plugged in the same power supply the old psu was plugged.

Yeah, it's ok if you're just swapping out PSU's. I upgraded from a 350w to a 500w, and I didn't change anything on it.

As long as your old PSU is an ATX, and your new PSU has the same number of pins on the connector for connecting it to the motherboard.
