Default Quick question, I think

Jumping to the chase, my motherboard has the 24 pin connector for the power supply. The power cord coming out of the power supply only has 20, but the SPECS say PSU Main connector : 20+4 pin. Do I plug both of the wires in. If anyone could explain this to me I would be very thankful. I don't want to plug things in wrong.

yes you plug both, there will usually be a little retention clip thing that will hold them together.
