I decided to take a look at my old computer and tested to see if the PSU in it would work, Set it up and it didnt work =[
I took a closer look at the PSU (from my old computer) and say a red switch! ^^

Flipped it...

BANG! *smoke*

NOOO! =[

Maybe i should have unplugged it first >.<

Now i have no computer to go on at all my step-dads =[
Any other ideas

Ok thats what it was like anyway except for the HD and CD drive was plugged in (unplugged now)
Nothing happening =[

Disconnect EVERYTHING from psu except a few fans, then on the large 20 Pin power connector, using a small paper clip connect the Black and green wire.

If it turns on, let it run for like 15-20 seconds then turn it off.

If it doesn't turn on after connecting the Black and green wire, then the PSU is bad.

How am i surposed to find out which is the green and black??
Theres like 1 green wire, then like 10 black wheres (Not exact :p)
And then there all tangled and connected into one block with plugs into the mobo...

you dissconnect the Plug from the motherboard and everything else except a few fans, Use the black wire thats closet to the green one.

I take no responsible if you forget to disconnect things.

Ok well i did as you said, and it didnt work >.<
I tried it on all black wires..

The power supply is dead.

When you do the Paper clip trick the power supply should turn on.

I reccomend buying a 450 Forton. Only 49.99 At newegg. Unless you want to spend more?
