Somethings wrong with those numbers. The monitoring software must not be compatible with your mobo. Try RealTemp and post a screenshot of your temps if possible.

ya, even if those temps are fahrenheit that is way hot. if realtemp shows the same numbers you should probably look into getting an aftermarket cpu cooler

real temp says it does not recognize my cpu. and yes those were farenheit temps

thanks for everyones help, and this forum is great i didnt realize my pc wouldnt recognize anything more than 4 gig ram,i just upgraded to 6 last week, so i dropped back down to 2 took the 4 back to compusa and got my money back. open my case and vacuumed the dust of the heatsink and rearranged some psu wires now it runs a whole lot cooler than before even while converting. one last silly question, the fan i have on the back of the case should it be pulling air out or pushing air in??im thinking pulling air out.
