A POST card?
Yeah, I tried with the original cable, no difference. I hope it's the video card, at least I have a warranty on it.
EDIT: I looked up POST cards, and there already is a built-in system like that for the UD5. I should have said what the code was, but I didn't think to. It's displaying the code "C1" now. Under normal conditions it displays the code "FF". Not sure what either code means though.
- Maybe I'll try disconnecting the video card completely and turning the computer on. Of course I'd get no signal, but assuming the problem is the video card, I'd get a POST beep and everything.
-Hmm, just looked up the "C1" code. Eventually found it on some other forums - apparently C1 is something to do with memory - "C1 Detect memory, Auto-detection of DRAM size, type and ECC, Auto-detection of L2 cache"
