Default Need some advice...

Alright I hope this is in the right forum. If it isn't please move it to the appropriate one.

I've got decent knowledge about computers but I still consider myself to be a noob in many regards. Anyways I just recently purchased a Samsung external DVD burner (Model #SH-S223). It requires a SATA connection and the cord was not included with the burner I purchased which I did not know. Anyways to the point I've never worked with or used a SATA connection so I need advice on what cord to purchase so I can fire this thing up. I'd like for it to be a SATA to USB 2.0 type cord. To be honest I'm not even sure what the size of the SATA input is. Which I believe would either be 2.5", 3.5", or 5.25". From the looks of it to the naked eye I'd say it's likely 2.5" input but if anyone could confirm this it'd be very helpful.

If someone can point me in the right direction and possibly provide some link(s) to a relatively inexpensive option it'd be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

well that model sure looks like an internal sata dvd drive to me. New Samsung SH-S223 DVD Burner Offers 22X Recording Capability your power supply should have the necessary sata power connectors and you can get and sata connector cable to connect to your motherboard. - Computer Hardware,Computer Accessories,Cables,SATA / eSATA,SATA,

You will want to mount this burner internally.

If I am incorrect please post a link to the model you purchased.
