Unhappy Computer is freezing / locking up

Hi guys, i'm looking for help to resolve this issue i've been having with my pc latley.

For the past few weeks my computer would reboot when i exited out of the game called WoW. So last night i decided to re-install windows xp, today i got xp installed and installed AIM Messenger, a minute after i launch aim my computer freezes on and off and wont stop till i reset it. Then later on im dowl loading the patch for WoW and my computer starts freezing on and off again.

Can you guys please help?

I'm Running windows xp, 1.7ghz amd athlon xp, 1024mb of pc2100 ram. GeForce FX 5700ve

I don't know anything about WoW but, your computer might be overheating.

cant be over heating, all fans and stuff are working good. its a fresh install of windows xp..

Just because they are working good, doesn't mean they are working good enough.

until you are POSITIVE that the comps isn't overheating, don't rule out the possibility.
