ARGGH!!! My PC won't boot! I turn it on, it then is "Checking NVRAM" forever (usually takes like a second or two) !! What can I do???

are you talking about the bit where its supposed to count really quickly up to the amount of ram your computer has?

if so press del and it should skip it.

is you have more than one stick of ram, try each one on its own.

 

[Nitestick]

could be a memory problem. try each stick in each slot on its own. you also need to try and run memtest86+ on all your sticks of ram
