Well it seems theres something wrong with my "ACPI"
Well i use Notebook Hardware Control and in the ACPI setting thingies it says Passive Cooling at (then a value) 80degrees sign celcius.
Well whenever i play games on my laptop when it reaches around 80 degrees celcius it starts to become choppy and goes from a decent 60 - 70 FPS to about 20 FPS.
If i take the back panels off my laptop and put it under the air con for couple of minutes so the temp goes to like 30 (which is low, i start up and its like 45)
and when i play again its fine.
I've cleaned out the fan but i don't think i can clean the heatsink.
Is there a way to change the ACPI settings and it might not be that because i never used to have this problem. About a year ago i installed NHC (notebook hardware control) and no problems with the gaming but recently starting having this problem. only hardware changes were some extra ram (512 on top of 512)
Help!!! i can only play for like 1 hour before it screws.
