Default xbox 360 wireless controller in use with my pc?

is it possible to purchase a wireless port of somekind so i can use an xbox 360 wireless controller...?

or do only the ones with a usb lead work with the pc?

well the answer is no. if you recall the marketing of the corded controller as being usable with a pc you could conclude it's something that the cordless controller can not do.

yep. the wireless version is not compatible with a pc yet. talks of releasing one have been going around for a while. so u can wait, get another wireless controller, or buy the wired version. I'm using it with my comp now and it's great. Though my Wii controller still kills anything else

Yeah i played a Wii at eb games yesterday, and it's really fun. No hiccups or anything, and it's easy to pick up and play. In my mind the console war goes like this
360>Wii>gamboy advance>Ps3
Ok im a little bit of a fanboy for M$ because Halo is so amazing, and sony has never really atracted me in the past, but at least im not a graphics card fanboy
