Default upgrading GFX card and monitor

hi guys,
ive just been ime work and now i want to splash out get a really good GFX card and mobo this is the GFX card i had in mind

9600GT is an excellent video card for the price. You should see a huge difference over 7600GT

ive decided what monitor im going to get this is it

Dell : DELL Dell 22 inch Widescreen Flat Panel Display with built-in Webcam (SP2208WFP) : Displays : HOME

i really want it but i dont require one because my crt (17" liyama) is working just fine atm so im really stuck

also another question i want to ask is that i have a 7600 card will it be able to cope with the new monitor eg games or would i have to buy a really good gfx card for games to play adequately on the monitor

it all depends on what res you play your games at, not what size the monitor is. But to play the latest games at a 22in res (I cant remember what that res is...) your 7600 prob wont cut it. for the latest games anyway

and dont double post, edit your previous
