Why? Is it because I need to?

I can always hook up a different PSU and dedicate that to the video card.

If thats the one you have then I would think you would be good. it has 44 amps total, but power supplies are not my area so hopefully someone with a little more knowledge will say if your good or not.

im pretty sure that psu would be fine.

if you read alot of the reviews on that enermax, people are running c2d's and c2q's with an 8800gts (haven't seen anyone with a gtx) without problems. im sure that psu is fine.

im' pretty sure this is a video card problem.. and not a cpu problem.. i ran the game with a 2900pro and fx62 like butter.. the game would never lag.. even w/ 1gb of ram

but then again, this was the demo, not sure that would make a difference

lol he's already got a great psu
8800gt and 5000+ black and arctic freezer 64
you should see a significant amount of gaming performance increase with those and it should only cost you around $400

but if he could just swap it out w/ an 8800gtx.. why would he wanna buy a new gpu... i see no reason to buy the gt.. if anything, he should just exchange for that 8800gtx and then dedicate a psu just to the gtx... as he aleady said. so what that said, ithink he should just buy the 5000+ black edition
