I would like to upgrade my system for the last time to get the best gaming performance. Mostly play World of Warcraft but don't want to buy another computer for 2 years at least.
I have an MSI 6380E KT-3 Ultra-2 with a 333MHz FSB and it seems only AGP4x support with a max of 256MB AGP memory support.
I plan to upgrade to the AMD Athlon64 3000+ Barton core CPU and I just installed 1GB of DDR400 memory.
So, for the graphics card I was thinking about a ATI Radeon x1300 Pro 256MB or a X800 Pro 256MB. Not sure which one would be better or if to consider the X1600 as well.
If AGP4x is too limiting, I'm open to getting another MB like the MSI KT4 which I believe would be a snap to move all my HW over to.
Thanks in advance.
Michael
