hi,
wish to know what is the difference between SATA and SATA II ? and I want to know whether my M2N32 -SLI Deluxe can support SATA II

sata - 3Gb/s
sata - 150 Gb/s

you guys may also want to point out that there is no point as of yet going out of your way to ensure a HDD is SATA2 rather than SATA. the SATA2 interface is only theoretically capable of faster transfers as not one HDD has managed to acheive even SATA's full transfer rate. as of now the fastest mainstream HDD (Raptor) is available as SATA. you will not see ANY performance difference between SATA2 and SATA for quite some time.
