Ram read/write reported as slow ?

Hi again guys,

I downloaded everest and ram the memory test, the results are dubious.. its sayin the read/write times of my ram are down (i ran the tests in safe mode):

read : 3055 MB/s
write : 1137 Mb/s
latency : 61.9 ns

the latency seem correct if not a bit low..

i should be scoring around (scores for A8n-sli,4800+,pc3200 : my specs are in sig.):

read : 5100 MB/s
write : 1650 Mb/s
latency : 62.2 ns

my ram timings are :

Set : Manual
Freq : 400mhz
TCL : 2
TRAS : 6
TRCD : 3
TRP : 3
TRC : 10
TRFC : 12
TRWT : 2
TWR : 3
1T/2T : 2T

the timings 2-3-3-6 are recommended by corsair.

And suggestion as to why im gettin the low read/write times ?

low latency is good.... i think ur HD is overheating or u got a virus or a malicious something (i doubt its a spyware or anything....)

my HD is at 35c, no virus as its a fresh install as of Tuesday...

Sorted it... lol

When i installed my new CPU i noticed that the RAM was in the wrong slots A1+A2.. so i switched 1 to B1.. so the config was A1+B1.. the PC didnt boot, switched them back and it booted.. I thought that the config muct have been right in the first place, Ive just switched it back again A1+B1 and it booted fine, so i must have not put the RAM in properly 1st time .. DUH !

RAM speed now :

read : 5226
write : 1806
latency : 62.4

cool, and just to think i have the cheek to call myself a techi.
