Not to be rude, but I already answered your question with my second sentence. It doesn't adapt DDR2 to DDR to be run in DDR boards. It writes a higher frequency SPD to slower DIMMs for overclocking. In other words, you stick a DDR2 stick on top, pop it in your board, and write its SPD to your DDR sticks for an increase in frequency used to overclock multi locked CPUs.
So no, it wont work the way you want it to. You will just have to buy 4 1GB sticks as I don't know of any DDR boards that support 2GB sticks.
