I'm looking to set up a RAID 1. But here's my question.
Is it possible to set it up on 2 slave drives and leave my master hard drive untouched or does it have to be set up on all hard drives.
I want the 2 RAID drives to be used for pure backup only to share between 3 computers.
So basically it would be like this
HD 1 - Main OS hard drive for my computer
HD 2 & 3 - RAID 1 for backups only
Is this something that you can do? Sorry I'm fairly new with RAIDs.
