hi i used to have a 300 watt psu and i used it for radeon x1950 pro, well the whole come died after 1 year, every single part, so i got a 450 watt psu Epower one and same radeon x1950 pro new. the amps are the same as from the 300 warr one itsl ike 16-17 amps on the 12 v rail.. am i in trouble? did i make a newb mistake in buying a higher watt psu only to find out i needed more amps? btw the tech support online for my original pc gateway told me i needed to have 16 amps or else the cpu would blow up.. so i belived em.. my cpu is cedar mill p4 3.0
