PSU Cable Extenders...

I currently have a Enermax Galaxy 1250 PSU but with my Cosmos S case there is no way to utilize the cable management for the 8p CPU connector, it's simply too short. I was going to just buy something generic but I remember reading certain types of wire can only handle so much current before they melt or just don't work... Something to that effect...

Question is... Can someone tell me a good site to get a quality extender for the 8p CPU and any other extenders I may find myself needing? Thanks a lot.
