please help

i just finished building my PC. and when i turn it on for the first time and i put the windows XP pro. all goes weel and then i get for aabout 2 mintes. and i get this message.

"setup did not find any hard disk drive installed in you PC"

please tell me what is the problem and how to fix it.

It sounds to me like you have to install the drivers for your sata hard drive, ide drives are automatically recognized by windows but you need to install the sata hard drive prior to installing windows because it doesnt recognize it on its own, install them via floppy disk
