New Graphics card for TV

If you look in my sig, you will spot a crappy video card. I currently need help finding a new one that would be able to run CS:S on full res (1280x1024) and also be very effecive for watching my videos on a 40" television next to the comp. It must be APG and under $250 (hopefully $200).

i um.......not sure thats possible............ What resolution is ur TV? cause if its higher than 1280X1024 then im not sure those cards can run it properly. thats a huge tv though.

7800GS if you can spend the extra $50 or so, if not the 6800GS is your second best bet.

Yeah I heard the 7800GS was the fastest APG card I can grab. I just don't want to spend too much considering it'll go to my brother after I get a new system. Any of you guys think the second generation 7900's will have APG?

That's kinda selfish ... it's a good card and your brother will enjoy it, won't that make you feel better about yourself?

Anyway ... why buy an AGP card at all if your building a new system soon. It's kind of a waste of $200-300.
