just get the e8600 if your not going to overclock. please do not get any pentium based on netburst. trust me i know i used to have a pentium D 940 it sucked

They always confused me a little since the Pentium D is two P4 cpu's stuck together (and not so great) but you will often times see Pentium Dual core which is usually the weakened version of c2d (pretty good).
Just something that bugs me a little when someone says I got a dual core Pentium! Ok well was it Pentium D or Pentium e#### because theres a pretty big difference.
