It really depends on what you are doing and what the rest of your hardware is like.

If your CPU/mobo run at a speed that supports PC2100, then the RAM will downclock itself. This means you will see virtually no increase in performance (aside from the increase of capacity).

However, if your hardware supports PC3200, then you see a noticeable difference in performance.
 
sorry my fault I should have listed my spec's DOH!!
Here they are,
mobo: A8N-SLI Premium
CPU: AMD X2 4400+
HD: Raptor and segate 250gb sataII
PS: Antec 400 (Just bought OCZ Powerstream 520w, should have it tues)
Video: ATI X1900XTX

Think that covers it
 
I bet you'll notice a difference in memory intensive programs. If anything the really low latencies will make a big difference.

Kingston is a stand up company. I just had to RMA a set of value ram (I brough it on an airplane, both sticks in a single static bag - it died along the way) but they were quick. Even paid for return shipping.
