Default Re: How much for a CSS playing computer?

Thanks for everyones input so far.
I have 3 last questions.

1) What is the difference between the 8800GTS 320mb and the 640mb?
2) What is the difference between these 3 cards?

XFX GeForce 8800GTS 320Mb PCI-E Graphics Card
XFX GeForce 8800GTS 320Mb XT Edition PCI-E Graphics Card
XFX GeForce 8800GTS 320Mb XXX Edition PCI-E Graphics Card

3) What is the difference between the XFX, the Asus, the BFG and the EVGA 8800GTS?
Is one of them better than the others? What make would you guys recomend?

Again, would appreciate any responses.

Thanks.

1) They represent the difference in memory on the card - one has 320mb, the other 640mb. Recent bechmarks have shown the 640 doesnt offer much of a performance gain over the 320 (although i did see one today that showed better results), and in my opinion the ATI HD2900 is a better card than the 640 for around the same price.

2) The XT is factory overclocked faster than the standard version, the XXX is overclocked even more. Its a waste of money really cause you can get the standard and o'c it for free...

3)XFX look nice... EVGA have very good step up programs i have heard... mostly it comes down to taste and price.
