Fans keep going on standby?

Hi guys.

I put together my computer about a month ago. I have a P4B Deluxe, 2 gigs corsair 4-4-4-12 Ram, 8800gtx, E6600 CPU. Whenever I put my computer on standby the fans keep going. Is this regular? Is there a way to make it so when the computer is on standby the fans turn off?

Lol, You should hope they stay on.
Yes its normal.
Standard by only decreases activity on things Like Hard drive and RAM. If even that.

Fans must stay on because electricity is still flowing through the main components and therefore throwing off heat.
