Default DX 10 cards

i am waiting for the DX 10 video cards to come out so that i can build an insane gaming machine. my only worry is that i dont have much to spend on a DX 10 card. up to 300$ is my limit. would i be able to buy one the those cards right away when they come out?

thanks

i highly doubt it because hardware manufacturers invariably release their flagship products first. which in this case will be the 8800GTX and we all know how much GTX's retail for upon release.

we need an official thread for this....Every day I see some "virgin techie" asking a question about these cards in a new thread.

The 8800GTX scored over 13K in the 3DMark06 with a 3.6GHz Conroe

8800GTS is meant to be around £350 on launch with limited number available. (According to OcUK.) So no you can't.

things are overpriced in europe remember. For me 350 would be 700 canadian dollars....the GTS here is supposedly around 450-500...

Expect over 400USD
