u can get the q6600 for 289$ which is still good price.. and quad-cores will be useful soon..

I read the article and every benchmark went to the quad? So whats his point? Why would anyone pay 1k for an QX when they can pick up a Q6600 for just a few bucks more than a dual core and overclock it to 3ghz on stock voltage.

QX can get 3.6 on stock voltage

why not just wait untill the 45nm CPU's comes out and then those 65nm cpu's will surely drop down in price hehe besides they are powerful enough to do any task.
