Is it possible to use a 20+4 pin PSU with this motherboard, because on Newegg it says it needs a 24 pin PSU, yet I have seen many use the Antec Trupower 2.0 (that has 20+4 pin setup).

the 20+4 pin just means that you can have either 20 pin connector for older motherboards or 24 pin for the new ones. It will be fine you just connect both the 20+4 together.

Yup my Hiper Type-R 580WATT is 20+4 works great, ul love that board.

Tip" Remove the Yellow gunk off chipset fan and clean it, then apply some Silver compound.
