dell ram upgrade?

hi
i have a crap dell pc that uses 133mhz ram (SDRAM)
it has 384mb of it. would i notice a great performance gain if i bought another 512 mb (at 133mhz), or is it not worth it...?
also, can i use my current ram and anotoer stick from a different make together?

You won't see a big performance boost. 768mb is as much as I'd ever put in one of those. 512 is plenty though.
