Default CPU upgrade

I currently own a Compaq SA4000t with the 915P chipset. Asus piranha chipset. Since this is an oem machine, the bios is proprietary. I currently have the 560J in the machine. But i wish for em64t support. i don't know whether the motherboard supports em64t or not? According to compaq technical support, the 6xx series is not supported. But will the 5x1 series be supported? I'm thinking of upgrading to http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16819116232. If the motherboard doesn't support em64t, will the feature just be disabled and will the motherboard be able to recognize it and i'll be able to use it? Thnx in advance for any replies.

Roger
